1 - CAPI: Calgary Association of Paranormal Investigations has been aware since 2003 that other organizations and individuals have been misrepresenting themselves as investigators for CAPI. While we encourage other paranormal investigators and organizations in the Calgary area, we ask that they DO NOT trade on our reputation and identify themselves as members of the CAPI team. To ensure your privacy, CAPI only responds to email requests from clients, as outlined on our Investigation Services page, and will never solicit Private Home owners for investigations. We advise anyone contacted by "CAPI" to forward any emails and other information to our webmaster. CAPI does, from time to time, contact Public/Historic locations but we prefer clients use our Contact Us page.
2 - CAPI: Calgary Association of Paranormal Investigations has become aware of a program called The Mystery of: The Deane House Vortex. While we question the "facts" presented, our major concern is having the CAPI name and our copyright material associated with this program. The CAPI logo and certain information from the CAPI site was used without authorization. There is also a "CAPI Investigator" mentioned and used as a voice-over. This person is completely unknown to us. We warn anyone viewing this program on various CHUM Television outlets (Space, CLT, etc) to understand that CAPI had nothing to do with its production nor was CAPI compensated in any way for the use of our copyright material.
